In Junior Eco Club, we have been really busy getting ready for Spring. On week 3, we planted flowers that would attract insects to our grounds. This is really important as butterflies, bees and other insects depend on these flowers and the pollen they provide.
In our final session of the term, we took on the task of Spring cleaning the school grounds. Some of our Eco warriors cleared the flower beds, tackling the weeds and tilling the soil while others picked up the rubbish from around the grounds. We also recruited the P4s to help with the digging and to prepare flower pots. We all did a great job!
