Key stage two have been having a lot of fun this term learning about the vikings. We have made our own 3D maps of Scandinavia to understand where the vikings lived. We have looked at what the vikings liked to eat and how they stored their food. As part of our topic we travelled to the North Down museum, where we learnt how archaeologists carefully excavate artefacts and use them to make logical assumptions about how people lived in the past. We also met, Froddo, a viking animal trader who told us all about the different parts of life as a viking.
