This academic year our KS2 class took part in Poetry in Motion Schools, an innovative literary programme for primary, secondary, grammar and special schools.
All the children have thoroughly enjoyed workshops with a wonderful poet, which enabled their poetic voice through increasing language skills, introducing them to poetic device and encouraging them to use their creative imagination.
Our P5/6/7 pupils all wrote beautiful, meaningful and sometimes funny poems. We couldn't be any more proud of them. The icing on the cake is having 6 of the poems published in Poetry in Motion Schools 2019/20 Seen and Heard anthology.
