KS2 children have planned and hosted a Hanukkah celebration for the whole school. Everybody enjoyed learning about the story of Hanukkah from their older school friends through a wonderful PowerPoint put together by the P5/6/7 pupils. We also had a go at making and decorating Hanukkah celebration hats, the Star of David and a menorah. The fun didn't stop there as all of our boys and girls got to taste yummy latkes (potato pancakes) and doughnuts. Well done to the hosts! Everybody learnt something new today and left with a smile on their face.
