The children have really enjoyed taking part in different problem solving activities. For this activity, Primary 2s had to find all the different ways of making 6p in order to buy one of Miss McKenzie's lollipops from the jar. There was a great working buzz in the classroom as the boys and girls shared their ideas and helped each other. Primary 1s were also very busy sorting the different coins and making amounts using 1ps. They were able to give me 6 pennies to get their lollipop. :)
