Our KS2 theme for Term 1 is, ‘Reach for the Stars’, and we have already made great progress with biographies for some of our favourite ‘stars’ in Literacy, learning about our solar system and of course our very own weekly superstars!
Linked with our theme, pupils created their own Glimpsing Galaxies Art. We started with watercolour paintings of the galaxies, adding splatter stars to these upon completion. Next we learnt about perspective, using vanishing points to create effective broken wall overlays.
